(mid., and perf.), rouse oneself, arise, spring up, w. inf., Od. 2.397, part., Od. 8.342; in hostile sense, χαλκῷ, Il. 3.349; freq. of ‘beginning’ to do something, Il. 12.279, Od. 8.539 ; εἰσόκε μοι φίλα γούνατ' ὀρώρῃ, ‘have strength to move.’
